Recent travels and racing did not go quite as planned for the #5, but Camden had a great time working with the Farbo Motorsports team during the 5 races on Lil' Texas. The accumulation of points propelled Camden into an early Top Ten position in the national points chase with a long 2019 season ahead. During the recent April 6, 2019 race at Sunny South, the number 5 Legend managed to take home a second place trophy again in the Semi Pro Division. Our sponsors really make it all happen and we want to thank Michael Beasley and Doug Stevens for their help with the car.
Camden Prouty drove the @proutymotorsports # 5 to a 2nd place finish in the opener at Sunny South Speedway on Saturday March 16, 2019. With an entirely new set up provided by Doug Stevens, Camden had to learn to handle the car at his home track. Camden said after the race that " The car had much better grip in the corners than last year. At this point the speed will come with me getting better at driving this car." The tires and grip got much better as the race progressed." Camden will be in his next race the week of Mar. 25.
In a repeat of the 2017 racing year the #5 Camden Prouty @proutymotorsports team, managed another Alabama State Championship. Camden raced at Winter Nationals in Citrus County, Florida this past week. Tough week of racing hard with some great drivers. Not the week we had hoped for, but had a great time and learned a lot. Thanks to Cockrell's Body Shop on a great job on the new paint scheme. Springhill Tinting did an amazing job on the vinyl lettering and pinstripping. Glad to have them both as sponsors. Big thanks to Michael Beasley for helping out as crew chief this week. We couldn't have done it without you.
